Update the graphics driver

Download a new driver from the graphics card maker’s site.

Turn on software rendering

Turn on Settings -> Appearance -> Performance -> Software rendering and click Restart now.Then choose Light in the same section: without the GPU, the CPU has to draw the effects. Windows and Linux only.

Linux

Start with safe rendering
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C (macOS Cmd+Option+Shift+C): custom CSS turns off. Background: Settings -> Appearance -> Background image -> None. The window does not respond: quit the app and start it with --no-custom-css.
