# Sign-in stuck on "Waiting for authorization"

> Browser did not open, page after SoundCloud won't load, or an error on the sign-in screen

Stop at the first step that works.

<Steps>
<Step title="The browser did not open">
The app says **Couldn't open the browser**. Click **Copy link** and paste it into any browser.
</Step>

<Step title="The browser shows "Connected" or a white page, but the app keeps waiting">
Click **Copy link**, send it to your phone and open it over mobile data, not the same Wi-Fi. Allow access: the computer signs in by itself.
</Step>

<Step title="No phone at hand">
After a minute the app shows **Page after SoundCloud won't load?** Turn on a VPN and click **Open link again**. Once you are signed in, you can turn the VPN off.
</Step>

<Step title="You have an Android phone that is already signed in">
Click **Cancel**, then **Sign in with QR** and scan the code with the phone. [How to do it](/en/account/sign-in#qr)
</Step>
</Steps>
