# Antivirus or Windows blocks the install

> The files have no paid signature, so Windows and antiviruses warn. How to get past it

    The file has no paid signature. Allow it to run if you downloaded it from the [official site](/en/install/download).

  <Step title="The antivirus deleted the file or calls it a trojan">
    This is a false positive.

    1. Download the file again:

    2. Compare its [SHA-256](/en/install/download#hash) with the one on the site.

    3. They match: add the file to the antivirus exclusions. Windows Defender: **Windows Security -> Virus & threat protection -> Manage settings -> Exclusions**.

<Warning>Do not turn the antivirus off completely. An exclusion for one file is enough.</Warning>
