# Sign in, sign out or switch account

> You sign in on SoundCloud's page in the browser. The app never sees your password

  <Step>On the sign-in screen, click **Sign in with SoundCloud**. Your browser opens.</Step>
  <Step>Sign in on the SoundCloud page (email, Google or Apple) and allow access.</Step>
  <Step>When the browser says **Connected**, go back to the app: it finishes signing in by itself. Likes and your library take a moment to load.</Step>

    **From your phone to the computer**, if you are already signed in on the phone:

    1. On the sign-in screen, click **Sign in with QR**.
    2. Scan the code in the Android app. [No app on your phone?](/en/install/android)

    **From the computer to your phone:** click **Settings -> Account -> Transfer session to another device** and scan the code in the Android app.

    A code works for 5 minutes and only once. Do not show it to anyone.

    **Sign out:** click **Settings -> Account -> Sign Out** (the red button). Downloaded tracks, cache and settings stay. Your other devices stay signed in.

    **Another account:** the browser decides which account you sign in with.

    1. Sign out in the app as above.
    2. Sign out of SoundCloud in your browser on soundcloud.com.
    3. Click **Sign in with SoundCloud** and sign in with the other account.

    On the sign-in screen, click **Continue without signing in**. You get **Local library** (downloaded tracks, saved likes and playlists, **My files**) and **Settings**. Home, SoundCloud search and Wave need an account.

    Sign in later: **Settings -> Account -> Sign in**.
